Donations

We are very lucky to be offered a wide range of donations and we thank our community for their continued support. This page details all the items we generally can accept and those we cannot.

The reason we can’t accept specific items is given in the FAQs section, and will likely be because of safety concerns, lack of space or little demand. We will always suggest alternative options of places to donate if they are known to us.

Thank you once again for your kind donations and for enabling us to support families through the recycling of your pre-loved essential baby items.

Items we CAN accept

Clothing, and soft toys

  • Children’s clothing – premature babies up to 6 months
  • Sleepsuits, vests, socks, outfits
  • Soft toys/comforters (must have the CE/UKCA label attached)

Equipment

  • Baby baths and bath supports
  • Bottles and teats – brand new only
  • Breast pumps – brand new and boxed only
  • Sterilisers – microwave and cold-water type only
  • Digital thermometer

Sleeping

  • Moses baskets
  • Bedding – Moses basket sheets, cellular blankets

Toiletries

  • Adult – shampoo, shower gel, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant (all unopened)
  • Baby – bubble bath, shampoo, nappy cream, toothpaste, toothbrushes (all unopened)
  • Nappies
  • Nappy bags
  • Wipes
  •  Cotton wool balls
  • Nursing pads, maternity pads
  • Hairbrushes and accessories – new

  • Old, worn, stained clothing

  • Electrical items – unless brand new and boxed
  • Baby monitors – unless brand new and boxed

  • Breastfeeding pillows
  • Bumbo seats
  • Car accessories and sunshades
  • Car seats
  • Door bouncers
  • Jumperoos
  • Nappy bins
  • Baby slings

Sleeping

  • Mattresses
  • Cribs – swinging and Next to Me style
  • Bed guards
  • Cot bumpers
  • Cot mobiles

Furniture

  • None – including changing tables
  • Nursery décor – pictures, lampshades, and curtains

Pregnancy

  • Books – Pregnancy, baby advice and name ideas
  • Maternity clothing – if needed, we will make an appeal

Feeding

  • Bottles, teats, dummies (unless new and packaged)
  • Baby formula and food – if needed, we will make an appeal
